Being 30 years later The engine and all the moving parts have to be replaced, didn't have to do that on the first one!
The 304 comes out and is replaced with a freshly built 360 bored .030 over with a mild cam, 4 barrel, aluminum intake, new tranny with shift kit and over sized dual exhaust. Being the same block as the 304 everything bolted up just like factory. Every part replaced with hard to find new parts, painted and reinstalled. The car now runs and moves and has even been taken for a little run down the street to see what the 360 can do,... and to my surprise it has a limted slip rear end in it.
